Heartfelt Retirement Wishes to Shri Narendra Shahane Ji

The LIC OBC Employees Welfare Association, South Central Zone, extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Shri Narendra Vitthalrao Shahane Ji on the occasion of his retirement from the Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Born on 7th May 1966 in Kopargaon, Ahilya Nagar District, Maharashtra, Shri Shahane Ji built a distinguished career marked by dedication, integrity, and leadership. Holding a Master’s Degree in Commerce and a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India, he joined LIC of India as an Assistant on 3rd April 1990 and was later appointed as a Development Officer on 5th August 1996.

Since the formation of the All India LIC OBC Employees Welfare Association in 1994, Shri Narendra Shahane Ji has been one of its most committed and respected contributors. From the early years of the Association, he played an important role in strengthening its activities and expanding its reach across the country.

In November 2003, he joined the All India Association as Joint Secretary and devoted his valuable time and efforts towards the growth and development of the organization. His commitment, vision, and selfless service earned him the respect and admiration of members throughout India.

In 2014, at the Mathura Conference, Shri Shahane Ji was unanimously elected as All India General Secretary. During his tenure, he effectively represented the interests of OBC employees before LIC Management, the National Backward Classes Commission, and various important forums. His leadership, determination, and dedication contributed significantly to strengthening the Association at the national level.

The South Central Zone has also benefited from his guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support over the years. His valuable suggestions and constant motivation have helped strengthen the activities of our Association, and for this, we remain sincerely grateful.

Today, on 31st May 2026, as Shri Narendra Shahane Ji retires from the services of LIC of India, we express our heartfelt appreciation for his remarkable contributions to LIC and the OBC Employees Welfare Association. His legacy of service, leadership, and commitment will continue to inspire members for years to come.
